The 1kW Low Temperature PEMFC (LT-PEMFC, Low Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) system uses residential gas supplied to houses and generates both electricity and hot water; its energy efficiency is very high and it generates less CO². The electricity generated supplies power necessary for everyday-use such as home appliances like refrigerators, air-conditioners, TVs, and lightings while the thermal energy supplies hot water for the bathroom or kitchen.
