Renewable energy refers to energy generated from conversion of existing fossil fuel, sunlight, water, geothermal sources, rain, organic substances, and other renewable sources. The renewable energy sources are classified into eight renewable categories (sun light, sun heat, bio, wind, wave, sea, disposal, and geothermal) and three new categories (fuel cell, liquefied gas and gasified oil sand, and hydrogen energy).
